The Air Force Command releases press release to explain the searching status of the F-16 fighting aircraft (June 6th, 2018)

The Air Force Command stated today (6th) that as of now, a S-70C helicopter, an AS-365 helicopter of the National Airborne Service Corps, 127 vehicles and machines and 858 people of policeman, volunteer firemen, ROC Rescue Team, Army Special Forces, Navy, Air Force and Communications Electronics and Information Force are dispatched for the following search work of the F-16 fighting aircraft at the crash area.

The Air Force Command further stated that part of the body remains of Major Wu and remains of launcher, auxiliary fuel tanks and blade of engine have been found today, and DNA comparison has been completed by Prosecutors and Forensic Medical Officers of Keelung District Prosecutors Office, and death certificate have been issued; the Army Special Forces, Fire Department and Gendarmerie will keep assisting for searching works tomorrow.
